婆の幸せ Here is a grandmother proud of her grand-daughter！

１月２７日　（火）
孫Ｎｏ３、後２か月一寸で３歳の孫娘の初舞台を見学に立石まで行って来ました。プレキンダーに３歳児14人、2歳児が４人、その２歳児のグループに３週間前に入園して入ったばかりなのに、今日のおゆうぎ会で、プレグループ総勢１８人の中で、センター取りして立派に踊っていました。児童数の４倍（爺婆、両親）の父兄が聴衆に。場所は何と葛飾シンフォニーヒルズ　モーツアルトホールという都内でもクラシックコンサートをやることで名が知れている所。プログラムの司会も全部児童が立派にやっていて驚きました。踊り、歌も可愛くて良く覚えて乱すことなくやり通していて感心しました。
彼女の弟、孫Ｎｏ６、生後２か月の孫息子もすくすく育っていてありがたいことです。遅ればせながら今週末、お宮参りに又出かけてきます。この写真を見て、改めてこんなに美しい笑顔は無いと悦に入る婆です。モナリザも顔負け。

I went to Tateishi to see our No3 grandchild's first dance performance in her kindergarten. She, 2 years old, started going to kindergarten in her neighborhood 3 weeks ago and she is now in a group of pre-kindergarten. In spite of her short career in the kindergarten, she already joined an annual dance performance of the kindergarten held at the pretty well-known symphony hall in Katsushika district in Tokyo. She was so proud of her performance and very happy. She performed her dance very well with her 17 classmates, All the kids were so cute.
Her little brother, only 2 months old, is also growing beautifully. This weekend again, we are going to attend a Shintoism ceremony held at a local shrine to worship his healthy and happy growth, so called OMIYAMAIRI　There is nothing like this two months old baby's smile. He is more mystically beautiful than Mona Lisa!

日光清風塾第３８回月例講話会「中国の若者達は日本をどう見ているか」

第３８回清風塾講話会　１月２５日（日）　「中国の若者達は日本をどう見ているか」

冬休みで中国・南京より一時帰国中の塾長によるプロジェクターを使いながらの講話であった。昨年８月以来であるから５か月ぶりとなる。

冒頭では年頭のタイミングであることから今年世界を巻き込む経済の動きに触れてから本題に。（ギリシャの問題、石油価格競争の問題など）

　

中国人は日本との関係をどうみているか。
　習近平氏の圧力はあっても日本人を見下しているという印象は無い。以前の悪い対日感情は無い。同等だと考えている。７０年前の感情を基にして日本と向き合うつもりは無い。1937年、旧日本軍が南京攻略を始めた日を南京大虐殺記念日とした昨年１２月１３日、国辱の日を忘れるなとか、二度とそのようなことがおこらないように強国を目指せというようなサインが校内の大きなスクリーンに一日中流されたが、私を日本人の先生だからといって責めたり、強い言葉をかける学生は一人もいなかった。彼らはそれが事実だとしても、７０年前のことを今議論することはしない。
　それより、彼らが一番に言うことは日本製品の質の高さであり、アニメの哲学であり、ファッションである。ちなみに、今の中国の女性はスタイルも良く、大変美しくなっている。日本女性も美しいが、歩き方がもう一つとか。（塾長は、この話をしながら、中国女性の歩き方を真似て見せてくれました。）これらに関する彼らの知識の高さは驚くほどで、むしろ、彼らから教えられことが沢山ある。学生も教師も全寮制であるというのもあるが、授業中だけでなく、学生と接する機会が多く、それだけ交流も深まり、温かくて楽しい雰囲気がある。
　コーラスグループを立ち上げて日本と中国の歌を一緒に歌って一層交流を深めているところで、５月には宇都宮の日中友好協会のメンバーが2,30人南京を訪問して、彼らと歌の交流をする企画が実現する。過去の優越感とか劣等感は無い。中国も日本も同じ文明が根底にある。中国は近代化が遅れただけで今は猛烈な勢いで先進国を追い越そうとしている。良いマナーを身につけようなどというスローガンが目につく。衛生の問題、大気汚染の問題など問題はあるが、人間としての交流が温かく、大学で教鞭をとっていることが大変楽しく有り難い気持ちでやっている。

感動的な映画 A great movie

何十年かぶりで青春の純粋で熱い夢を追う壮絶な実話に基づいた映画を見て感動。「ＫＡＮＯ」がそのタイトル。台湾で歴史的大ヒットとなった感動巨編が日本上陸。林先生の推薦でもあり、本日公開となった今日、夫と宇都宮のＴＯＨＯシネマズへ行って来ました。監督を演じた俳優さん〈永瀬正敏）が実に素晴らしい。第二の高倉健を行くかもというのが夫のコメントでした。一押しの映画です。当時日本の統治下にあった台湾で、灌漑用水の大開発を成し遂げた日本人、八田与一先生も登場していることが更なる感動を与えてくれました。
We went to Utsunomiya to see the movie entitled KANO which has just opened to the public today. Our friend, Dr.Rin recommended us to see it and we were very much impressed and moved by the scenario based on the real story which occurred in a small village in Taiwan back in 1931 at the time of Japanese occupation. Coincidentally it was the time when Mr.Hatta showed his strong leadership to develop the water for irrigation for the sake of farmers in the same land. Mr. Nagase who played the role of the director of the small baseball team, is great and we both liked him very much. My husband said that he might be a follower of Mr. Takakura, a popular actor in China as well, who died last year. I would like to recommend you, my friends on this page, to see this movie

忘れられない出来事 Never forget what happened to us today

1月１７日　土 (January 17, Saturday)
　
20年前のこの日、阪神大震災に見舞われてから今日で２０年。この日は夫が国連代表部に在勤していて私達はＮＹにいた時で、東京にいた娘から電話がかかってきたのを覚えている。今朝のＮＨＫでの文珍さんの言葉が心に響きました。「地震で崩れないものを大切にしたい。」文珍さんも家屋が崩れ、５年間、コンテナを居住地にされていたそうだ。でも落語と言う職業に助けられたと。人はどんな時でも笑う。人は笑欲があるから元気になれる。人間ドン底に落ちた時（落語と同じ）、何故か笑いが出ると。心を引き締めた一日のスタートとなりました。しかし、下に記したように、今日やったことは、無駄の最たるものだった。でも夫婦のみならず、周りの人も巻き込んで大笑いの結末に。
Twenty years have passed since that hellish disaster named Hanshin Great Earthquake Disaster occurred on the 17th 1995. We were in NYC those days because of my husband assignment working for the Permanent mission of Japan to the United Nations. I remember that on that day my daughter gave me a big call from Kyoto worrying about what had happened early in the morning in Kansai area.

This morning they had a special program on TV where Mr.Bunchin, a famous comic story-teller, showed up. His house was also destroyed and he had to stay in a container as his temporal house with his family for five years. He survived through this chaos with his profession as a comic story-teller and through his profession, he confessed, he learned a lot about a precious life to be. What he said this morning impressed me so much. He said "I want to treasure what cannot be destroyed by earthquakes." He added "Human is ready to laugh whenever anything happens. Human can be revitalized thanks to his desire to laugh."  What he said braced myself up this morning, then I wrote down here below what happened to us today, which turned foolish, but funny and we ended up with lots of laughs for not only two of us but also our friends around!

15日には雪が。翌日のあけぼのの風景は三日月が東の空に浮かんでいて古の風景を見た思い。そして１７日の今日は大晴れ。夫に奥日光半月山展望台からの富士山を見せたくて今年初めてのいろは坂ドライブを。ところが、思いがけず、展望台への道は通行止めで今日一回目の空振り。ならば明知平のロープウエイからの絶景を見ようと後戻りしたら強風の為、ロープウエイは中止。今日二回目の空振り。ならば今市駅前通りでやっている恒例の六歳市に行こうとわざわざ車は遠くに停めて向かったところ、人影もまばら。？？　中心になってこのイベントを開催している親戚に行ってみると、強風のため、今日の六歳市は中止になったという。これで三回目の空振り。今日は見事に空振り三振を経験。今晩は地域組での新年会があるけど、大丈夫かな～？？
We had a wet snow on the 15th. The next day's morning sky produced an old day's air and scenery with the crescent in the East. Then today on the 17th, a beautiful weather blessed us and invited us to go for a drive along the zigzag slope up to the deep Nikko. I wanted to show my husband that sacred scenery visible the top of Mt.Fuji far away to the west over beyond Nikko mountains. We could have that view if the air is clear from the observatory on Mt. Hangetsu. Unfortunately the road was blocked on the way, which was our first swing and miss today. Then we decided to go down back to the Akechidaira plateau to get on a ropeway to enjoy that gorgeous view of whole Nikko. We found it was closed due to the strong wind, which was our second swing and miss. Upon giving up the two nice views, we drove down to the town Imaichi to see a monthly petit festival opened along the street just in front of the shoe store one of our relatives' families has been managing. Again, we found it was canceled due to the strong wind. Our third swing and miss. Oh, la la!　Everything we planned today ended in failure, so called "Strike out swinging". This evening involves us in a New Year party organized for our local community. No more failure, please.

新年の夕食会は見事に開催されて大盛況でした。総勢１９名。
The new year dinner party was beautifully organized and we all 19 members enjoyed it.

中国、南京からの留学生を我が家に迎えて中国通の地元友人と共に活発に話しが出来るのは素晴らしい！It's

so nice to have such a cheerful talk with two young students from Nanging together with our young friend who knows Chinese culture and language through his experience in Shanghai.


１月１１日
1月１１日も大晴れ。日中のぽかぽか陽気はありがたいですね。今朝、夫は二人の留学生を奥日光に案内してクロスカントリーをやりに出かけて行きました。彼女達にとっては初めての雪体験だそうです。
This morning, under such a beautiful weather, my husband took the two visitors, Chinese students studying in Tokyo, to the deep Nikko to let them try cross country appreciating the snow scenery for the first time in their life.

今年のお正月は一寸いつもとは違った過ごし方をしました。爺婆が子供達を尋ねて上京。京成線で繋がった子供達の家に順繰り回ってそれぞれのお正月風景を楽しんできました。小さい子はいるだけで家が活気づいている。それも時として過激になるときも。上京したついでに我々の携帯にも変化を。渋谷のアップルの店とソフトバンクを２日間、往ったり来たりでブーツ姿のウオーキングもやってのけました。久し振りで寿司やの美登里にも。今年度は７日から日光での生活がスタート。
Our New Year Days were a bit different this year. We went to Tokyo area to share the New Year Days with our children's families each. Their location is all along the Keisei Line, so it was rather easy for us to hop around. All our three children have two kids each and their existence itself is activating their homes.Taking this opportunity we decided to do research on mobile devices in Shibuya where we walked a lot back and forth between Apple Store and Soft Bank. I walked a lot in boots instead of walking shoes for two days. We ended up with enjoying sushi at Midoriya. Our routine life in Nikko started on the seventh this year.

１月１日　２０１５

 あけましておめでとうございます。今日は我が家からの日の出を拝んで元日の作業に没頭。夕方冬休みで一時帰国した主人を迎えに宇都宮まで初ドライブ。予報に反して良い天気に恵まれた元日で助かりました。我が家に活気が戻って来ました。
A Happy New Year! This morning the first thing I did was to worship the sunrise on New Year's Day from my house which looked so soft and mild. Then I was concentrated in my annual work before going to Utsunomiya to fetch my husband coming back from China for winter vacation. My drive on New Year Day was comfortable thanks to good weather. Now more active life came back again to me.
