2017年8月24日ユネスコ活動 UNESCO activity

昨年は台風9号の影響でキャンセルを余儀なくされた日光ユネスコ協会活動の一つ、日光世界遺産周辺のモニタリング（NOｘ汚染度調査）が今年は盛大に実施されました。地元高校生（延べ人数2，30名）と国際ボランティア学生（8人）の協力を得て一日目はカプセルの設置、二日目はその回収作業。熱心に取り組み、最後には高校生、国際ボランティア学生、日光ユネスコ協会のスタッフが一堂に集合しておしゃべり交流会が小一時間程出来たことは今までにない収穫となりました。
This year's air pollution monitoring taking two days on and around the Nikko World Cultural Heritage ended up with a successful cooperation with the three local high school students (20 to 30 total numbers) and 8 volunteers from ICEE. This is one of the annual activities by Nikko UNESCO Association which I belong to. Good thing this year was that we set up an extra time to exchange views to underst

and each other. It seems, however, to take much more time for such shy and quiet young local students to speak out aloud.

8月14日

8月12日ついに第2陣、第3陣が来晃。そこにまず7日に来ていた第1陣の孫No２が前日の山の日に百名山の99座目を踏破した父親と一緒に再来。我が家は満杯になりました。しかも彼の99座目(剣岳）は実は父親の百名山を二巡達成した記念の山となったそう。何という父子！我が家の熱い暑い夜の集いとなりました。翌日は皆で2017年の夏の日光の思い出作りとして川治の魚つかまえどりに行って来ました。立石組はこの日の午後の電車で帰っていき、市川組は次のスケジュールを控えて翌々日早朝に、続いて蘇我組も出発。台風5号の余韻の中で過ごした今年の盆休み。我が

家の台風も過ぎ去って行きました。5歳の3人の孫達、それぞれキャラクターを持ち、仲間意識、競争意識も芽生えて見ていてとても面白い。まだ2歳の孫No６は今が一番大変な時。順繰り、子育てに奮闘する子供達も人間的にどんどん成長しているのが頼もしく感謝することしきりです。今回は次女の義父も一緒に来て下さって家族にとっても貴重で思い出深い夏の日となりました。

　２０１７年のお盆休み

妹(5歳）がひたすら本を読んだり絵を描いたりしていた3日間の間にお兄ちゃん(10歳）は福島の飯豊山（百名さんの97座目)、富山の立山（98座目）、剣岳(99座目）を悪天候にめげず父親とまさに山の日に登頂達成。今日再び日光に合流します。今日は第2陣(息子家族4人）、第3陣(娘の嫁ぎ先の爺も一緒で5人）も来晃します。我が家はエネルギー一杯になってパンクするかも！嬉しい悲鳴です。さあ、迎える準備に突入です！
While his sister(5 year old) has been reading and drawing at our place for three days, he successfully reached the three summits, No.97,98,99 out of 100 prestigious mountains in Japan, with his father. He made it just on the Mountain Day, now one of national holidays in Japan. They are coming back here today again. The other two families are also coming to join us today. Our place will be happily over loaded to be almost exploded!

2017年の8月5日(土） ビッグデイ（this day ended up with big happening)

   昨日はまたとないビッグデイとなりました。
   まず早朝に奥日光までひとっ走りしてイタリア大使館、イギリス大使館別荘での宇短大生によるコンサートを聴きに出かけて美しい景色と新緑からマイナスイオンをたっぷり吸収し、午後には私の日常に大きなサプライズが降りかかりました。それを仕掛けた人、乗っかった人、シェアしてくれた人、みんなに感謝です。
   最後はタイミング良くみんなで大谷川花火大会を鑑賞。

   ・First, I drove up to the deep Nikko early in the morning to see an annual concert by Utandai Fuzoku HIgh School students held at two Embassy villas' park and I enjoyed walking in the beautiful nature full of green and fresh air.  Then a very big surprise came over to my routine life in the afternoon. My big appreciation goes to my friends, one who planned this surprise, one who played the piano (this pianist is still a high school boy, a promising pianist) and two
   competent Chinese students who kindly shared this pleasure and emotion. He (Mr.Kouhei Ohno) played some classic pieces including his impromptu piece composed right away when walking in the woods in front of our house. What a gifted musician! Finally we went to the nearby park to enjoy the annual fire works operating high up in the sky over Imaichi area.

老いてスコア上昇 Better score as getting older

8月2日

IUの鬼怒川ＣＣでの月例コンペに夫婦で参加。今回は予感が的中して90を切って88。そしたら、何と夫とアウトもインも同スコア。ＨＤＰの関係で彼が優勝で私は準。次回は同じハンディになる由。いよいよ同じラインに立って競争心が湧き出て来ました。加齢と共にスコアが上がって我ながら驚いています。
We both participated in the IU monthly competition at Kinugawa C.C today. We ended up with the same gross score, 88 and my husband won while I got the first runner-up due to the difference of our HDP. We are supposed to play next time with the same HDP, which makes me excited. I'm very much proud of myself to get better score as I get older.
