Even a teacher has to run around to deal with many things to finish by the end of the year is the meaning of Shiwasu in Japanese calendar. To be honest, an ordinary housewife is much busier with grocery shopping for New Year holidays, cleaning the house, welcoming children's families back and with preparing beds and big dinners. It was fun and kind of appreciative occasion to see all of them in good shape gathering around their parents and to have many enjoyable talkings, chattings and even complainings with them. Kousui(4 years and 5 months), Shota(3 years and 9 months) are the bosses of this gathering. They really talk and talk. It is interesting to listen to them talking to each other. They are cousins but more like brothers. This time another cousin, actually Makoto(Kousui's father)'s sister's girl child who is 4th grade, came to visit us with Kousui for the first time. This little lady is so well mannered and she can cheerfully respond to our questions and we really enjoyed having conversation with this little generation. We spent wonderful a few days around Christmas holidays. Then, Nari and Yoko came to see us only for one night at the end. He has been engaged in many activity both officially and privately but good thing, he was able to find out a time to come to Nikko with Yoko. Most of the time we talked. They returned from Florida in October and he started working for one of the major leagues in Japan where he has been challenging to develop or create partnership market. What he has done in the United States should be utilized and activated in order to realize his life target; Sports are the devices to encourage the people and they make the living circomstances alive and energetic.
I always get a good lesson from him.
Now we find ouselves only two of us. They all have gone back to their own lives in Tokyo area.
Something unordinaly thing happened to me on the New Year Eve and since then I have been rather quiet because of my sickness. I got cold. I still have a running nose and keep coughing but fortunately I have been energetic enough to be involved in my translation work asked by some company. I promissed I would finish it by the middle of January. Today, I got to be through it. I feel a bit relaxed now. Therefore, I opened my blog site to write my first message this year hoping it will be fruitful this year in many ways.
Thank you for inviting us to Nikko Palace(!). We really enjoyed, talking with you, having BBQ Party, and the beautiful Nature. We(expecially Kousui and Chizuru!) look forward to visiting you in Nikko. Hope you get well soon.
