春分の日連休に孫達のスキー挑戦 Our grandchildren's big ski challenge

 ３月１９日、２０日　春分の日連休

息子の長女（孫No3）と長女の長女（孫No4）が同年の４歳。二人は個性が明らかに異なるが、実に仲が良い。No3はあと１０日で５歳児。さすがに、幼稚園では同学年の中で一番のお姉ちゃんらしく、友達のサポート役的存在らしい。何でも積極的に楽し気にやる。No4 は６月生まれなので、No3 とは２か月半の違い。彼女は型にはまったレッスンを喜ばない、ひたすら自由な創作の世界を楽しむ、これまた、目力のある楽しみな女の子。こんな二人だから相性が良く実に仲が良い。

今回、二人はお兄ちゃん（No4 の兄で今年５年生、あと９個で日本の百名山を踏破することになる一方で、これ又父親の影響で既にスキーの名手。既に二級資格取りに挑戦し始めている。）の後を行くべくスキーに挑戦。二人とも、スピードを恐れない。彼女たちの愛らしさ、逞しさに魅了されて、私自身が彼女達の仲間入りした形で、この好天気に恵まれた連休を実に楽しむことが出来た。まだスキーが楽しいと言えることに自分でも驚いている。

They are cusins, the both 4 years old girls, one is going to be 5 in 10days, the other in June, 3 months later. Their characters are totally different. Our grand-child No3 is fond of challenging whatever we feel like letting her try, while No4 rather independent and very creative. However,  they get on well with each other, the both are so sweet.
This time they challenged to ski following up No4's brother, 10 years old, who has been trained by his father in various outdoor activities such as mount-climbing and skiing. As a mout-climber, already conquered 91 out of 100 famous mountains in Japan, as a skier, now challenging a second grade qualification. According to my judge, these girls will be courageous and good skiers with no fears of speed. Under such a beautiful weather these days, we had a healthy, wonderful time. I found myself enjoying being among these little ladies.
