今年のGWも無事に、賑やかに、慌ただしく、新しい経験と思い出を残して過ぎ去りました。特記すべきは

８つぐらいのパフォーマンスの中で
異色を放って大盛況だったのが
ベリーダンス

①泉福寺の花祭りに出かけて極楽浄土を味わったこと。

奥日光湯元をスタート

in the deep Nikko

②総勢１１人、年齢も１歳から７０＋と巾のある団体さんとなって奥日光をウオーキングしたこと。湯元から赤沼まで湯滝、泉門池、戦場ヶ原コースの約８ｋｍを急ぎ足、そぞろ歩き、写真撮影の為の休憩、あるいは幼児を時々歩かせながらで２時間半かけてのウオーキングとなりました。仕事から離れて、夏日のような好天気と美しい自然の中にいること自体に癒された娘達は感動の連続。爺婆は孫達とのコミュニケーションを楽しみ、孫達の成長を見る機会が得られたことに感謝。
③端午の節句らしく、長女の婿殿から長男に譲渡された立派な武者人形が今年は我が家に飾られたことｃ
④正直、厨房を預かる者としては食事のメニューで頭を使って大忙しだったこと。季節的にBBQが一番人気。

庭で従妹同士の徒競走
Two boys, cousins, were heated up
for competing a footrace in our yard

従妹同士は８か月の差はあるものの二人とも新２年生。１人はすでに父親と１００名山の内、３２の山を踏破。もう一人はサッカー少年となって意気を撒いている。二人とも好きな教科は図工、体育だそう。それぞれの弟と妹は１歳９か月と１歳１１か月。泣いたり笑ったりしながら言葉にならない言葉で意思表示をする。おチビさん同志、何とか友達コミュニケーションを取ろうとするもののパンチをくらって泣き出したり・・。何でも触るので全てを手の届かないところに置くことになる。部屋中がちらかし放題。実に賑やかなGWでした。

As used to be, our children's families stayed at our place during the golden week for 4 days. We visited the Senpuku temple for the first time to join an annual flowers festival. Then all of us, 11 people in total with wide range of ages from 1.5 years old toddlers up to 70+ grand-parents, drove up into the deep Nikko to challenge a long distance walking for about 8 Km together from Yumoto down to Akanuma, Senjougahara registered as a world heritage for Ramsar Treaty; by taking 2.5 hours. The wonderful nature impressed everybody, especially our daughters seemed to be relaxed away from their hard works. Good for them! That's what we wanted. Everything we planned to do was realized well and everybody was satisfied with this year's GW. After seeing them off, of course, I put the things back and found myself in the bed to have a rest so as to re-start my own duty..
