豪華な遅咲きの八重桜 Now double cherry blossoms are in full bloom

今年の桜は本当に豪華。ソメイヨシノが散って葉の緑に変わり、枝垂桜は薄いピンクの花と緑の葉が半々といったところ。そこへ今度は八重桜が迫力を持って力強いピンク色であたりを明るくしてくれている。松原公園にはソメイヨシノ並木と八重桜並木が一直線上にあり、合間に枝垂桜があり、品格と優雅さのアクセントとなっている。


This year's cherry blossoms are really gorgeous. Someiyoshino cherry blossoms have gone and green leaves replaced now while Shidarezakura, willow-like cherry trees are mixed with pale pink blossoms and green leaves, so to speak they are now in transition period. Then double cherry blossoms are powerfully blooming in deep pink color to brighten their surroundings. Matsubara park, the nearby park, has a road lined up all those cherry trees, therefore one part is all green, the other is dark pink. Then in between is half pale pink and half green. These willow-like cherry trees give a refined atmosphere with their grace and elegance.

我が家の八重も今がピーク。一本の八重桜が夫の手で見事にライトアップされている。今年ほど近場でこんなに桜を愛でた年は無い。

The double cherry blossoms in our yard now look more gorgeous by the illumination installed by my husband. I've never enjoyed Sakura before more than this year.
