Special spring view - 今春の特別な風景

Spring view of Maruyama Park

Today's local news paper carried some pictures of beautiful spots of  cherry blossoms in our neighborhood, which induced me to go for a walk in one of those. This is the place I usually go for my routine walking excercise but actually these days kept me away from it because of my busy schedule and unstable weather. The cherry blossoms were already through their climax but they seemed to be still proud of their beauty. Besides the white and divine snow on top of  Mt.Nantai far in the back,  made a gorgeous contrast with a big group of lovely pink flowers, Sakura. This causeway in the picture which is my walking route made me  feel so warm and intimate that I couldn't help appreciating where I live.
 
このところ悪天候と忙しさから遠のいていたウオーキングに出かけました。今日の新聞に近場の美しい桜のある風景が紹介されていたことがきっかけで思い切ってでかけました。土手からの眺めは見事な風景となっていることに驚き感激。二日前の雪を新たに被った男体山が遠くで白く神々しく輝き、桜並木はピンクとなって恥ずかしげに右手に戦ぎ、一直線に伸びた土手の道は何か温かい優しさが漂う。改めて恵まれた環境に住んでいることに感謝です。
