家族 Family gathering

Big appetite.

蘇我から娘の家族がこの豪雨の中、一か月ぶりで我が家に。今月末に２歳になるNo4の孫娘の誕生会を爺婆の所でということで来訪。お兄ちゃんの星太君（No２の孫息子、７歳）は百名山の一つ、群馬県にある至仏山に父親と登る筈だったが雨のため断念。家族一緒にやってきた。登っていれば３４個目の山を登ったことになるという。百名山以外にも登っていて総数１００は超えているらしい。あと３週間で２歳になるが一か月前と比べて余りの成長に驚いています。コミュニケーションが取れるようになり、顔の表情といい、ボディーランゲッジが豊かになって笑いが絶えない。爺婆としては一番楽しめる時なのだろう。

Our daughter's family living in Soga came up here to see us in such heavy rain. It was a month ago they visited us last time. We decided to organize No.4 grandchild's second birthday party at out place this time. Her brother, 7 years old, was supposed to go mountain-climbing with his father in Gunma, but because of this bad weather, they gave it up and came together whole his family. He already conquered 33 out of 100 mountains registered as famous mountains for their beauty in Japan and Shifuku-zan in Gunma was supposed to be the 34th. He climbed already more than 100 usual mountains including one in Honkong and one in Taiwan.
It's amazing to see the little girl, going to be two years old at the end of this month, growing so quick. She is now capable to communicate with us with rich not only facial expression with new words coming out but also body language. It might be most enjoyable period for us to be with them.
