The rival, Kuvitona, is also a fantastic player. Her great recovery from the serious accident attacked by a gang moved the audience and her speech as the first runner-up was so impressive that a big applause came up from all over the world. There has never been such an outstanding game before. I was just sitting in front of the TV to watch the game with high tension. Naomi almost gained the second set to win the final but Kuvitoba came up with a big recovery and she gained the second set. Naomi must have been very disappointed and discouraged but she stood up and reset her concentration toward her favorable target. The game ended up with her beautiful victory. Congratulations! All Japanese must be very much proud of her.
