ユネスコ活動 One of the activities by Nikko UNESCO

全部で５班に分かれる

今日は暑い中、日光ユネスコ協会の活動の一つである世界遺産近辺のモニタリングをやってきました。今までの担当は東照宮が中心でしたが、今回は大猷院近辺でしたので気持ちも新たに、地元の高校生３名、付添の先生１名、とユネスコメンバー３名のチームで４か所に計測器を設置。夜叉門、常行堂、神楽殿、太郎杉。大猷院は東照宮ほど派手でなく、深みがあって畏敬の念が湧いてきます。
Under such a heat weather, I joined one of the Nikko UNESCO activities which is to gauge the quantity of air pollution (NOx) around Taiyu-in Mausoleum with 3 students and 1 teacher from the local high school. We set up the devices at 4 spots which are Yasha-mon Gate、Jogyo-do,Kagura-den (Sacred dance Hall)、and Taro-Sugi(a huge cryptomeria tree.　I like Taiyu-in better than Toshou-gu shrine.
