EECC新年会 A New Year Party for EECC

平成30年、2018年1月19日（金）EEＣＣ新年会。2009年7月から始まった【楽しい英会話クラブ】も８歳半となりました。忘年会より新しい年と向き合った新年会を今年は教室でお弁当を囲んでやることに。二クラス合同でやるとお互い同士を知りあうことになり、輪も広がって賑わいも倍増。英語を餌にして同士に会える楽しみも大きい様子が伺えます。
This Enjoyable English Ｃonversation Ｃlub is going to be 9 years old in July this year.
Every year either year-end party or New Year party has been conducted. This year we had the latter one putting two classes together so as to make more friends closer to each other. They seem to enjoy showing up to chat with friends as well.

卒寿記念作品展を見て

2018年(平成30年）1月18日
小百在住の福田儀先生の卒寿記念作品展が昨日から杉並木公園ギャラリーで開催されています。凄い魂が作品に凝縮されていて涙が出るほど感動しました。先生は脊柱狭窄症を病んで入院中のところ、今朝は病院から抜け出して来られて会場でお会いすることが出来ました。病んでおられても来場者に会おうとされるその気迫の凄さにも感銘。作品に添えられた短歌が又先生の人生観が滲み出る逸品。会場には強い魂が充満しています。23日まで開催されています。
To commemorate his big age, 90 years old, Mr.Tadashi Fukuda decided to execute his personal art exhibition at the Suginamiki gallery in Nikko which is now on until next week. He has been hospitalized since a week ago but yesterday he encouraged himself to come out directly from the hospital to see his friends visiting this gallery.  Fortunately we were there and we were able to talk. His works are all marvelous and powerful enough to impress the visitors. (He is an uncle of our son-in law.)

2018年 半月遅れの家族集合 First Family gathering in 2018

1. 今年度最初の家族全員集合がやっと実現。恒例の集合写真を撮るには絶好のお天気日和となりました。子供達のそれぞれの家族がこうして実家に集い、孫達は存分に庭で遊び回り、ちびっ子従兄妹同士の良い関係も深まりました。3歳１人、5歳3人、10歳2人。お兄ちゃんたちはついに受験社会に突入。こういったアウトドアでの息抜きは良かったのでは？今日は温泉を最後に    思い出を残してそれぞれ帰っていきました。
2. The second day of our family gathering. Beautiful weather for playing out in the yard and taking a group photo. These small cousins are happy to play together. After enjoying the hot spring altogether, they have gone back leaving good memory behind.

皆様あけましておめでとうございます。本年も若い人達から置き去りにされない様、ある部分（？）では追い越されない様精進する覚悟です。どうぞよろしくお願い致します。
早速初滑りをやってきました。5歳の孫にはまだ追いつかれていません。
A Happy New Year to all my friends on SNS. I definitely try to do my best so as not to be left behind by the young people. Today went out for my first skiing this year with our daughter's family. I'm still doing better ski than our No.4 grand-daughter, 5 years old.

主人と明日のコンペに備えてハーフだけ初打ちに。しっかり歩いて来ました。その後、初めて羽黒山神社⛩に初詣して参りました。羽黒山の頂上までの石段（100段以上）もしっ

かり歩いて来ました。960年の風雪に耐えてきた鳥居の改修工事を本年やる由。頂上からは快晴であれば富士山がしっかり眺められるのですが今日は雲が邪魔をしていました。
First play this year but only for half to prepare for tomorrow's competition. Then went up to Mt.Haguro to visit Haguro-san shrine for the first pray asking for good health, peace,good harmony ETC..We missed a sacred view of Mt.Fuji from there due to the thick clouds in the sky. Good thing was lots of stone steps we walked up and down.
