春は桜 Cherry blossoms represent Spring time

今年の桜は格別に美しい。あの大災害をもたらした大雪が信じられないほど、自然は大変身している。大雪に見舞われたのが２月中旬。その２か月後にはこの変わりよう。これが又１０カ月もすれば別の世界に。時の流れをこれほどダイナミックに感じさせる自然に畏敬の念を持たざるを得ません。

 The nature has greatly changed after such tragic disaster caused by the two heavy snow storms two months ago.  Now the season of cherry blossoms has arrived with more gorgeous impression than before. This bright nature will be different in another 10 months. The time keeps going on and on around us to repeat the different seasons through a year.  It's time to appreciate the dynamic nature with respect.

日彫会（日光彫同好会）の仲間とお花見。花と団子を同時進行。

We, members of Nikkobori(Wood curving club members) are out in the nearby park to enjoy both seeing blossoms nd having lunch. This is a typical Japanese style picnic.

翌日、桜が散る前の瞬時を惜しむかのように、又もや同じ公園に立ち寄った私です。

The next day I find myself again standing under the cherry blossoms in the park which seem to be enjoying their last moment.

その桜の園には大きな野生の鳥、ヒヨドリが大忙しでスィートを堪能。彼等も豊穣のシーズンを謳歌している。

Quite a few wild birds, bulbuls probably, are very busy in tasting sweet in the midst of blossoms. They are also enjoying and appreciating the productive season.
