Finally we were able to talk on Skype. He is going to update his blog in his home page. The first one is already on. He was lucky to be warmly welcomed on the campus, but on flight he found something different from the one he used to have. No Japanese was available, which never happened before in any flight departing from Japan.
こちらでは４月始めに１歳になった孫娘に会いたくて立石にいる息子の所を訪問。１か月前に入居した新しいマンションで既に快適にやっている様子を見て安堵した。孫娘は先日の連休に我が家に来たときに歩き始めの気配があったが、今日はもう自信を持って家の中をバランスを取りながら歩き回っていた。二次元より、三次元の世界がやっぱり面白いと言わんばかり。すっかり癒されました。
I went to visit our son's place in Tokyo to see our grand-daughter who just got one year old in the beginning of Aril. I was happy to see them having a comfortable life in their new mansion they moved in one month ago. The little girl was about to start walking when they visited us two weeks ago, but now she already has a confidence in her three dimensional world. She got to know how to balance herself on her two legs. Just seeing her moving around gave me a lot of comfort.
