今日は恒例の４年前に103才で他界した義母を偲ぶ会を我が家で決行。お天気にも恵まれ（暑くも無し、寒くも無し、４月下旬並み）て、良いタイミングであった。４年前に、モッコーバラの季節に義母が我が家を訪れて、その２か月後に他界したことから、この黄色の蔓バラの時期に皆集っている。６人の義姉達は相変わらず元気で賑やかだが、昨年の写真と比較するとそれぞれそれだけのことはあるなと自分も含めて納得。とにかく、皆仲が良くて思いやりがあるのが私としては嬉しい限り。昔の話を繰り返しては笑が絶えない。笑というか、笑顔は何よりも勝るとつくづく思う。
Today I had another gathering at my place. Every year in May when the yellow rose vines in front of the front door is in full bloom, we organize the annual gathering for 6 sisters-in-law to commemorate their mother who passed away 4 years ago. She was here in May 4 years ago at the time of yellow rose vines in full bloom and she had gone after two months. Since then we gather at our place to chat and enjoy barbecue out in the yard. They are all kind and thoughtful about each other, which I really appreciate. They laugh a lot. They keep good smiling faces. The greatest thing in the world is a smile, isn't it?
