家族　もう一つの新しい門出　Another new start of our family

新年度の始まった４月早々に待っていた朗報が我が家に飛び込んだ。息子のところに待望の赤ちゃんが誕生した知らせである。約一週間遅れで生まれてきた孫は私達にとっては３人目だが、初めての女の子。２日の夜、初産にかかわらず、一呼吸で飛び出すようにこの世に登場したという。

As soon as a new academic year started, our family also got a new start. A good news came in at night on April 2nd .It was from our son and his first baby was safely born at 8:31 at night. He sounded calm down but actually he must have been excited deep inside.  The baby was the third but first grand-daughter for us.

翌日駆けつけたかったが、暴風雨の天気予報であったので、一日おいて４日に夫と千葉にいる長女とその息子ともども初対面を果たしてきた。何と小さな、でもしっかりした顔立ちで、しっかりした命をかかえている。体内にいる時から、運動が激しかったとのことで、生まれる時もジャンプして飛び出した！と新米のママが語る。生まれながらにしてなでしこジャパンの気配を感じて、一人で悦に入っていた。とにかく、母子ともに無事に難関を乗り越えたことに安堵すると同時に、感謝の気持ちで一杯となる。息子も嬉しい気持ちを隠し切れない。興奮してパソコンで作成した命名の書が側に置いてあったが、平成２６年なんて書き込んであって爆笑。太陽の日差しを一杯浴びて、やさしさのそして秘めた強さの香りを醸し出すようにと願ったのか、陽香（ようか）と命名されていた。おめでとう。

The next day we wanted to go to see her but because of the weather forecast telling that there would be a terriblly strong rain and wind, we decided to go the day after. Our daughter living in Chiba came to join us with her son, 5 years old. We were able to see the newly born baby together. What a small, and fragile creature she is! But she looks  trustworthy  and very precious! According to the new mother, she had been very active in kicking around all the time in her abdomen and finally she jumped out from her mother's adbomen within one breath. She seemed to be born as an athlete. I enjoyed this report and I was happy about this exaggerated thought that she was born as a member of Nadeshiko Japan! We were relieved and grateful for the healthy birth of a new member in our family. Our son must be very happy about it. His exciting feeling was shown on the paper printed out from his PC. It described the year 2014 instead of 2012 for her baby's birth year. Upon seeing it, everybody bursted into laughter. She was given a beautiful name, YOKA,　with a meaning of the bright sunshine with a aroma of gentleness.  Congratulations again!!
