Three consecutive holidays on 21,22,23 November

After having a little running competition with our grand-children in our back yard early in the morning yesterday, I took No.1 grand-child to the Tosho Shrine while Masao took No.1 and his little brother with their parents to the Edo Village entertainment park in the afternoon. Because of my duty to go to Nikko community hall to join Nikko Brass-band annual performance in the afternoon, I was available only in the morning to be with them.
The Tosho shrine was very busy even in a drizzling weather. No.1 grand-child, the third grader, seems to have his rival in his class and what he said to him might have motivated his concern to visit this shrine. He said, 'I visited the Tosho shrine the other day. Your grand-parents live in Nikko, don't they?'
Well I think he is still too small to understand the significance of this world heritage site. When he'll have chance to visit Nikko in a school excursion sometime in near future, I hope he will remember something we experienced this time. The Edo entertainment park they visited yesterday afternoon seems to have been very exciting and enjoyable to them.
